Security Update
---------------
There is no upgrade script to run, the changes for the security update are entirely in pp-inc.php.

Hey. When I tried to patch the security issue, things stopped working.. I put back the old pp-inc.php in the meantime.. Is there any way (or steps to take) to simply apply the security patch? I have modifications done and I don't want to upgrade until there are some major changes...

You need to be running 2.4 to "patch"; there is no patch for versions prior to 2.4.

Oh, that's good to hear.. "Magic Quotes" don't sound dangerous at all - but apparently, they were.. So - anyway.. Am I safe to still run 2.3? Or is there a page for it?
Thank you!

2.4.1 is a substancially newer way safer code engine to run. It is based on the already security checked 100% safe Photopost 5.13 release that is already released. We will be redoing all our software to 100% known security checked versions as time goes on.

Hmm.. Sounds like I'm going to need your help again, then.. I'll need a clean upgrade and one with a modification you made for me..
I'll be in touch shortly about this.. In the meantime, it's probably best to delete all of these posts as they don't have anything in common with the topic...

You should have the backup files I sent you with the modification so all you need to do is use a program like beyond compare to check the difference and apply the hack back in.
No need to do a complete reinstall as I dont have files from any previous work you should.
