posting an ad loop(NOT A BUG)

I am running classifieds with VB3.

I had it running before the import, you can see I placed some test ads. Since the import, it was reported to me that I had a problem.

It seems that now when a user or myself go to step one of the place an ad sequence it enter a loop. You choose your catagory, click the submit button and it brings you right back to step 1!

I think we need some info here. What do you mean since the import you have problems. We need to know specifically what changes have been made.

Your best bet to make sure you have no file errors is to redownload the distribution and reupload all the files. I wonder looking at your install why the recent ads box is blank.

I have just downloaded and uploaded all files in the main directory except config-inc.php and config-int.php

There doesn't seem to be any change. The recent ads is interesting. The ads that are there were placed there months ago and have not expired. The could be related to how old ads are purged.

You were correct, I have uploaded more files and it seems to be working, but it has not deleted outdated ads, I will look a little further.

If you have a loop your cookies are not matched and most likely the prefix is not correct which in vb is by default bb

I use phpBB:
Cookie name in my phpBB Admin: phpbb2mysql

Forum Cookie Prefix in Classifieds: phpbb2mysql

PhotoPost Classifieds Cookie Domain is empty

Do I have to change something ?

and your cookie path is / in both

Make sure to try cookie domain in format .domain.com in both apps as www.domain.com and domain.com are two domains and cookies dont work across domains so using a cookie with .domain.com works with both.

Changed everything but it´s still not working. Everytime the same loop...
If you want to try it self then I can give you my admin access.
