Things to check...

- that the extension is allowed in the admin panel
- whether the ad is waiting for admin moderation

Is the ad waiting admin moderation? Was the picture over 2MB in size? Check your PHP info for upload_max_filesize and make sure the picture is less than that value. Also, check that permissions are 777 on the data directory and its subdirectories.

Yes make sure you download and make sure all 2.3 files are on your server. If you only have one template type selected then step 1 is bypassed and you automatically go to step 2. You must have an older file mixed in there.

Okay well I fail to see how your install does not do what every other install does if I visit it. I have gone to many sites aside from my own which I use for testing purposes. This comes right from the uploadproduct.php file and tell me if you do not see this code in your file.

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Basically if you only have ONE AD TYPE active what that code says is instead of load choosetype template then it just goes to the next step which is the template that has the catlist. On your install it is not doing this if you only mark on ad type active. Thus in my opinion you have a file that is not getting updated when you upload the new files. The code here is pretty absolute in this regard. Let me know if that code is not in your uploadproduct.php

Well do you understand what the code is saying?

That first template only gets loaded if adtypes is greater than 1

send me a signin again lets do some more testing
