How do I turn photo uploads off in classifieds?

I am on a shared server and cannot allow any more that 20mb to php so if someone uploads a 2mb picture straight off their digital camera it is going to give me problems with my server admin.
I have this error message as my server runs out of memory:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 20971520 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2304 bytes) in /xxxx/xxx/xxxx/xxxxxx/classifieds/image-inc.php on line 104

I had no idea that you cannot control the size of pictures that people may upload in ignorance, and the result would be gobbling up all the memory that php has. OK if you've got your own dedicated server, but I will get chucked off my server if some goon wants to keep trying to upload massive pictures.

OK, it seems that php cannot stop this happening, and until I can find a way of preventing this I will have to stop pictures uploading to classifieds. Trouble is there is no setting for this? Can support suggest a way out of this please. I am panacking a bit because this is the last thing I was testing before going live.

Actually, there is a setting for this, although it appears to have been lost over time from non-use. You can put it back in by editing the adm-options.php script and adding the code in bold to lines 239:

Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
I'll add this back into the codebase; so if you don't want to make the file edit, download the current build and upload the updated adm-options.php file.
