PayPal Problem ... please help(FIXED)

I am having trouble with paypal, after paying for the ad i get this message...

Script not called correctly.

Everything else works right.

Any Suggestions?

I just started getting the same error, when people buy ads with paypal. Unsure why it's happening.

So your saying the error is on our side or paypal's side?

We send paypal a send back link are you saying thats not working

Error is not with paypal. I'm not sure, I have to see why it's happening. I know it doesnt take place when posting a regular ad and the paypal ad even with error still sends your payment. What happens next is the paid ad is there as far as recently posted in the paid section history, but not live in the section, it's not sitting waiting to be approved either. I have to move the ad from one folder to another in order to make it appear.

I am having this same problem. I have attached a screenshot. What happens is the user pays for the ad via paypal, clicks the return to merchant button as he is supposed to and then he is redirected back to http://www.cubeowner.com/classifieds/payment.php

On that page, is the "Script not called correctly" error and the ad never goes live or showes up as being paid for unless I manually approve it in the payment pending queue.

Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Okay, here is what is suppose to happen (and has in the past, unless PayPal has changed something). In payment.tmpl there is a line that reads:

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

This is the return URL, but from what it looks like PayPal isn't passing back the action and ad paramteres and just calling it plain. I need to look to see if PayPal has changed anything, but the return variabled used to call our script with the variables $action and $ad so we could complete the ad.

In doing some research, try adding this line to your payment.tmpl file (change in bold):

Code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

According to what little documentation I can find, PayPal changed the functionality of the return field recently and this additional variable is needed to send the data back.

You would think PayPal would document a change like that a little better.....

I'll be adding this into the Classifieds update expected tomorrow.
