Are users allowed to edit comments in 2.11? Admin can edit comments but it seems users cannot? I have the usergroups set to Allow comments? YES Allow edit own ads? YES We are in final testing for going live and a tester placed a comment saying: would you take $XXXX dollars for the item but put in too many XX's and found he couldn't edit it :) Thanks! |
Have you checked category permissions? Are users allowed to comment? |
I'm using vb3 integration: User Groups have permissions to: Allow Posting, Bold, Italic, Comments, Edit In Edit Categories Usergroup Access Permissions are all checked []Yes If I give the usergroup Admin access then the Edit button appears. Fwiw, the edit function works fine in photopost and reviewpost using the same groups and settings. Thanks.. |
Problem is the Admin usergroups script nowhere has a selector to allow you to check whether editposts can be set Here is an updated adm-userg.php file Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
Excellent...... For anyone changing this file, be sure and go back to your usergroup editor and set the correct permissions for Allow Edit comments. thanks.. but, um, our beta testers have found a couple of other issues. will post later |
