Another issue with wanted template 2.1

Well, here I sit 6 hours later still unable to get all the danged details figured out with the templates.

OK, I moved my wanted sections into their very own main (wanted) category instead of being in the same categories as forsale items... didn't know we couldn't mix them like that, and still not positive, not much for documentation.

When a wanted ad is posted, it displays ok.

If it's your ad and you click on it, the option of:
Move ad to: [..................] works fine
BUT:
If you click on "edit ad" the line that says:

Change category? (leave blank to leave alone)

does not display a blank, it shows the first category that has a forsale template in it and will happily move it there if you do ANY edits.
There is no option to move it to any wanted section as it only displays the forsale categories.

It also does it to any other templates, the "edit ad" defaults to the categories with the forsale templates.

I've tried this on more than one install and something is just plain wrong.

Is it just me or has the cat finally lost it?

great program and I really hope to be able to turn them on someday, been fighting little bugs for over a month.

not sure if this is the same - Help with "wanted" Template - mine was swapping into "for sale" template on editproduct instead of wanted- this was Omegatrons answer which worked for my first issue - mine still not viewing as a wanted template..is yours??

Thanks for the update. I installed the code listed in your post and low and behold it works now.
The wanted and forsale no longer step on each other.

My wanted ads appear to be displaying and editing correctly, sorry to hear your's is still acting up.
