Comments in Classifieds

I recently had classifieds installed and I have comments turn on but when I type in a comment and click on Submit Post it tells me " You did not fill in all the required fields.". Any ideas?

what do you mean you as in when signed in or not signed in? A little more info would help.

If you allow unregistered commenting I may have a solution but need to know your integration type as I ran across this same thing I think in Photopost lately.

Again though the only way this happens is if you allow unregisted commenting because $User['nopost'] is always 1

If your issue is unregistered posting let me know the integration type and I will post your specific fix

Okay in the quickcom and comments templates find this

<textarea name="comment" cols="50" rows="10">$ecomments</textarea>

change it to this

<textarea name="message" cols="50" rows="10">$ecomments</textarea>

The only problem here is the quickcom template has this

name="comment"

where it should be

name="message"

you can edit that right from the admin panel under admin templates
