Error in SQL syntax

Hello,

I am recieving error messages from my classified ads when some people try to post to them, but other times it works ok. This was installed less than two weeks ago. Below is a copy of one of the error messages.

The query returned with an errorcode of:

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ' 1107029050, '42\' STEEL BLUE WATER CRUISER', '', '', 'IM000222

Well the error is because your cat is empty in the query

Is this a specific category or ad type?

Hi Chuck.

What I know is that someone tried to place an add in "For sale - Boats" and couldn't, I am not sure what the problem was specifically, but he wrote me an email and just said

"I tried to place an add with no sucess. Let me know when you are up and running smooth. I would love to add my boat."

Then I recieved three error messages, one of which I posted at the begining of this thread.

When I went to my site, his ad is there, apparently he succeeded in placing the ad. Not really sure what happened, that is why I am asking for your ideas.

Here is his successful ad, one thing I did notice is the supersized picture is 90 degrees off.
