Multiple emails being sent

I just heard back from the member who had ad #209 in post #9 above.

The first and only email he received was when I ran the sendnotice.php manually from my browser. He did not receive anything when the cron ran sendnotice.php.

Okay, try the change I suggested above and let that run. The spider parameter may be interfering with the script in some manner (I've had to remove it on scripts before).

As I suggested, remove the "--spider" or replace it with "-q" (for quiet). I think the spider tag may cause the script to not execute properly on some systems.

The "-q" fix appears to be working. I've noticed the sendnotice.php gets called every 10 minutes and once per day, the "update" emails get send. I need to try another test auction.
