Thumbnails not being created

For some reason someone will upload a photo and a thumbnail is not being created. The full size image shows up in the for sale list. I ahve tried to force the thumbnail creation by editing the listing but it doesn't help. Is there a reason that some photos don't get a thumbnail created?

I have only seen this result from problems associated with the systems image processor. The only way I have corrected such an issue was to recompile the image processor. Is this all images forward or just certain images?

Have you been able to download the image and upload it fine?

I did figure out what the problem was (I think). It seems the image was created in PhotoShop. If I download the image and resave it in another graphics program it resizes fine.
