When you edit the comment, is the slash in the comment itself?

Are you positive you've uploaded the files properly?

I've tested it here without a problem.

Line 238 of showproduct.php

$desc = convert_markups( $desc ); $desc = convert_returns( $desc );

change to this

$desc = convert_markups( stripslashes($desc) ); $desc = convert_returns( $desc );

This still doesn't fix the category stripslashes problem, when you have links in the category.

"when you have links in the category"? I'm not sure what you mean.

yeah i do.. i've given him links to my site so he can see it, and showed him on his own developer site, even omegatron has noticed the issue...

i first posted this bug in June.. you'd think that would be more than enough time to get it fixed, this is rediculous..

Actually if you want to be technically correct I have not followed this issue at all as Michael has been involved with this.

I posted one fix on here.

You realize your test example on photopostdev has no stripslashes?

I suggest if your working on an older version you upgrade. No one DJ here can replicate this. All posted fix's by Michael or me were included and noted in the release notes.

Again here is a test on 1.8.1

http://www.omegatron.net/classifieds/index.php

YOU WILL NOTICE ON THE INDEX BOTH CATS HAVE DESCRIPTIONS ONE WITH A LINK AND ONE WITH A SLASH AND NO ISSUE

Here is a product

http://www.omegatron.net/classifieds...php?product=26

I have tested title description extra etc for stripslash issues and there are no issues.
