Uploading images via FTP delete before import.

Hi I'm having a issue when if I upload a bulk load of images to my FTP user directory, as a file is uploaded one deletes itself so you can't get as far as import to plugin , I have user directory a set correcty using the user:id as folder name, CMOD to 777

It was working fine the other day when doing a test upload but recently has started to play up

Anyone have any suggestions?

Our program has no control over you uploading images via ftp that is your ftp client.

The program if you check to bulk upload is going to check to see if there are any images to process in that users upload directory. That means if the images are there the program will process them.

Are you having an issue with your ftp client you are using maybe? Not really getting a clear picture of what your issue is here.

I think it's a processing issue then, as soon as you upload the image it will disappear, but going to bulk upload option won't upload the missing files it only uploads the files in the user directory. So not sure where the files disappear to, it's only started to do this as it disnt do this before.

Thanks

The point I was making without seeing your site is as long as the files exist in the users uploads directory they should be there to be processed. Sounds to me like I said early you have some ftp issue which is outside the application.

If you have any further issue you need to supply us with information to look into your sites problem. Otherwise all I can do is give general advise based on your post.
