Image uploads fine but doesn't appear anywhere

We have a vbgallery with over 8k images and just one user that has 143 images in his gallery and now it seems he is unable to upload any more images.

I logged in as him and was able to reproduce the error - the image uploads successfully, but then does not appear in his gallery nor the chosen category.

Is there a limit on number of uploads somewhere?

I have total filesize set to unlimited (0) in settings..

Thanks!

well what size image are you trying to upload? Like for instance if your php max uploadable filesize is 2mb and you try to upload an image over that your server deletes it which means as far as the program is concerned no image was ever uploaded so you would get the behavior that you describe.

Also try your testing in respects to filesize and also with flash uploader on or off.

I was able to get it to work with the standard uploader, so it appears to be something with the flash uploader.

Are there are any known flash plugin version incompatabilities?

Thanks!

Hard to say without more info. what size file was it? The flash uploader is what it is. It is not guaranteed to work on every setup or for everyone which is why there is a global switch to disable or enable it.

Ok - we'll just assume it's an isolated issue. the files are under 500k.

Thanks again for your quick replies as always.
