last post didn't work Last post isn't working but last upload is working. How can i fix it ? I am using 4.1.8 http://www.photopost.com/forum/insta...nistrator.html i did it again but nothing changed. http://www.audiclubtr.com/gallery/sh...lastpost&p=104 http://www.audiclubtr.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=328 http://www.audiclubtr.com/gallery/index.php |
If I follow that thread did you do the replacements because it does not look like you did and also if your using miultiple styles you need to do this with all template sets. I can not read your site messages so I can not say what is going on. Also any issue also tends to send you to your forum so this might be interferring some as well. |
there is no error,it directs to forum page. working: http://www.audiclubtr.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=328 not working: http://www.audiclubtr.com/gallery/sh...lastpost&p=104 username: AudiBot|v53 password: 25111981 adv_gallery_categorybit_level1 ---- Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
If you want me to comment about your site I would need to be able to see your site. It is hard enough it is not in english but its also locked down. PhotoPost vBGallery The link works and is translated fine by the script from what I see that is a fresh vbgallery 3.01 I would suggest you check your htaccess on the site any kind of redirects because its your forum or some addon causing your issue. maybe vbseo cant say as I do not know what is setup on your site. |
i gave you a registered user account..Dont you see the gallery ? you can change language under the footer.. username: AudiBot|v53 password: 25111981 Your private mesage is closed so i can't sent my admin account to you. |
any info like admin access which is preferable you can send to the contact us link in our site header. Have you checked your htaccess or stuff like I suggested? Disabled all products except vbgallery? I gave you a specific example on my last post which runs a default vb4 install. The default coding appears to work on my example. There should be nothing wrong with the normal post link unless some product/plugin is interfering I would think. |
i send to you my information. |
Can you answer the questions I asked? I do not speak your site language so I can not administer anything. I would suggest you turn off vbseo and see what your result is. I can not replicate your issue with a default vb4 + vbgallery 301 install |
i turn off the vbseo and tried but nothing changed also i tried it with all template (default vb4) |
My suggestion would be to turn off vbseo and remove or rename htaccess files your using on the server since everything seems to go to your forum instead of actually performing its normal actions like you see on my normal site. Make sure the only thing active on your site is the default vb forum and the ONLY plugin that is active is vbGallery and lets see where you are at. You can verify that if you try my default test setup that things do work correctly and I am using the default released code you download. |
1 Attachment(s) i tried it nothing changed.. this is my new htacees file Code: Content visible to verified customers only. |
You do not seem to follow me here on what I am saying to do. This is definately an issue with vbseo and htaccess. I have suggested you turn off every last product and plugin except vbgallery. I see your turning off plugins you understand that part. You would remove all htaccess files from the server. You can rename them to say HTACCESS from .htaccess thats fine. I beleive if you do all this your issue will be resolved. Look at whats happening you are being redirected to your forum with a post number we are passing intact the info so your issue is not some old thread where it says we are not passing a post id. Your site clearly is posting a last post id. You should be going to your gallery as noted by my test site to the actual post on the photo. Your issue is vbseo is causing you to redirect to your forum and not stay on your gallery and go to your last post. I am confident that with all htaccess removed your code should work fine. with that said you can go to vbseo and ask them how to make sure there product does not try and rewrite any urls from your gallery directory. That will solve your problem. |
Let me explain further how this works so you can see your issue. Here is a last post link on my test site which is a clean vb vbgallery install chrysanthemum - PhotoPost vBGallery This gets all the info needed and forwards you here with the page pulling it to the last post. chrysanthemum - PhotoPost vBGallery Your issue is in your modified install with vbseo something is forwarding you to your forum so it is preventing vbgallery from doing its job. You can install a clean test forum and vbgallery elsewhere on your site to confirm what I am showing you. It is not the first time I have seen issues with vbseo especially when one installs the forum in the root of the website so vbseo affects every last directory on the site. |
i removed vbseo, the other mods and htaccess files but nothing changed.. when i click the last post,it direct to error404.html page. why only last post is affected ? I am using vbseo and photopost for a long time. i gave you my ftp and admin password..Can you look pls ? I have nothing to do. |
Have you tried a new test install of the forum and gallery separate from this install? A clean stock forum and gallery. I can not tell you why your server is not letting the code work obviously I have can show the code indeed works as shown in my example. |
Hello , You need to contact your mod author. We are not offerign support for third party modifications. vbsEO doesn't interfere with how vB gallery is working. If you don't want vBSEO to process those files you should directly exclude it. And again you need to take your questions problems about third party modifications to their support. Kind regards, Mert Gökçeimam / Crawlability Inc. vBSEO Developer |
Standard reply from a company and we have the same policies. I have suggested what you should do. I am not seeing answers to any questions I have posed to try and assist you. I have clearly shown there are absolutely no issues with our coding through direct example here. Have you done completely brand new non modified test installs if so where are they? Your vb and vbgallery licenses allow you to make locked down test installs for testing purposes. This is the perfect case to do something like this. You have a heavily modified board with mods and vbseo and you have url rewrite conflicts. Just so we are clear here I will post another clear cut example of our gallery feel free to click on the last post link and you will see it clearly works AbuDhabi Anime Club Gallery Then you can also reference my test site and try there PhotoPost vBGallery You need to determine what has changed on your server or setup mods htaccess etc. You reported the bug that has long since been fixed. Your site in fact worked fine since April. You can see by my examples we are passing the p= variable as we should. So the question what have you done latetly that messes with urls install vbseo? You need to figure out what external thing is causing your issue. I can not fix a coding issue that doesn't exist. |
yes i am shock because it was working correctly..i don't understand,i didn't modify any htaccess, gallery and vbseo files..i do not understand why this happened. Yes your links are working correctly. |
Well obviously something was installed or changed which is why I suggested clean test installs without anything else. There is no issue with the actual coding all my examples show exactly how things works. Preferably you would use a secondary domain name and setup a whole new site root so there is no contamination from your main site. Most hosts nowadays allow multiple site setups so it should not be a real big issue but at the very least you want to do clean test installs like say this with no mods Audi Türkiye Kulübü & Audi Forum Audi Türkiye Kulübü Galeri Knowing your site worked fine just shows that whatever happened recently installed is causing your issue. You had to have installed vbseo or new htaccess files redirects etc. This could be months ago if you never noticed this issue. How long have you had vbseo? I know you changed your url structure as your forum was installed in a directory called forum in posts here 7 months ago. It could be redirects you placed months ago after moving directories that could be causing this. |
you tell me create new database and create new forum and test it..am i wright ? |
