issue with multi-delete I have users saying this function does not work: sitename.org when they select multiple images then click "delete selected", it prompts are you sure? They say yes, but the images remain. Is this a known issue? Thanks! |
ok I have done some more research. What I have found. My vbGallery setting: Quote:
I double checked permissions and they all give my users ability to delete their own images. They can in fact open an image of theirs and delete it, but can't multi-delete. There seems to be some weird issue with permissions. Admin can do it fine, users can't. Any ideas? Thanks |
I will do some testing and report back. where is this multi delete interface for users? url? I would suspect that the issue would be related that maybe an admin can only delete the images instead of checking for some alternate permission. |
Thanks Chuck. The link I was directing them to was here: http://www.sitename.com/forums/profi...=vbgeditimages |
Thanks I will see if I can track down anything |
In admin manage addons I have the option to show mass delete for users and I am viewing my profile I see nothing so I do not know if I am in the right place. I am not totally familiar with every last vbgallery option since I do not personally use the product. I can pull up the page directly that is not an issue. I can verify your issue I just do not see how one gets there. I will search the plugins and see if I can see anything that might be out of place with permissions. |
my users are reporting the same issue, while I can use the multi-delete just fine. |
FYI, the page the multi-delete appears on is under the user cp (settings). /profile.php?do=vbgeditimages |
are user permissions to mass delete images set to yes? |
I'm not seeing a 'mass delete images' option under usergroup permissions, just a 'Can delete own images'. Is there a setting somewhere else? |
Has anyone taken a look at this? My members are still having this issue. |
I am not familiar with vbGallery and all its features the one question I asked that was never answered was how does one get to whatever url was posted. I never saw a link so I have no basic to search. The page noted was an administrator mass delete page it looked like. |

The question I asked was how is one getting to that final page. I see no such link in vbgallery except when I am an admin. |

Thanks I will have to see if I can track that link down to determine what is suppose to or not suppose to show. |
