Thumbnail Layout in User Profile Page [Solved]

I have a problem on one of my two gallery installs. When I look at the member info page, all the thumbnails are too wide and therefore screw up the neat columnar layout (easier to see on the screenshot than to describe).

Same behaviour in VB4.0.8, and 4.1. Having gone through the code / css in some details I think I have found the difference between the two sites, but I can't work out where this difference comes from.

In the working site the thumbnail images have their width defined as part of the img tag, so img... width="100" height="100". In the broken version this text is not there. My problem comes in that I can't see where this width and height comes from. Both adv_gallery_imgbit_free templates are identical, and neither has the mysterious width=.. height=.. in the img tag.

Help please as I'm getting to hair-tearing-out stage.

- I have applied the 4.0.8 fix from the sticky thread. No change.

Not sure about my previous diagnosis, but the problem was permissions on the gallery/files directory stopping the rebuilding of thumbnails. I think I will never learn to check permissions before doing any other problem finding!

also try looking at your display in another browser also. some browsers remove missing images from display so that may have also helped find your answer quicker.

when posting for support here it is always good to post a url to your site since pictures 9 out of 10 times do not give the information needed. issues like this one would always need to see your sites source layout.
