Version info incorrect

I have uploaded and upgraded the vbgallery software to 2.51 2 times now. If I click on statistics, it is still saying that I am running 2.5. I have tried reinstalling the templates as well as reinstalling the product and allowing overwrites.

Any ideas?

Regards

That is probally because they have not changed any copyright or version info in the actual program. 2.51 was simply a bug release.

There is nothing detrimental if it says 2.5

Then what's the point of the software telling me there's a new version?

Are you referring to the news script that says the latest version? I will pass that along to the developer for that specific script but you have no issues as there was no upgrade script.

There are no plans to further develop the vbulletin 3 series software. I beleive they will fix any bugs but the vbulletin 3 series is end of life. The vbGallery 3.0 software is the new next rendition of the product and is written for the vb 4.0 series software.

Hey Chuck,

If I go into my "admincp > vbgallery > statistics" I see the following message:

Welcome to the PhotoPost vBGallery Admin Control Panel
You are currently running PhotoPost vBGallery v2.5.

The latest version available is 2.51.

There is a newer version of PhotoPost vBGallery available!

Please check PhotoPost.com for more info.

Regards,
Scott

Yeah that is a news message no worries as stated.

Like I said 2.51 was merely a release of a couple bug fixed files there where no database changes.

You can ignore that message.
