Image Too Small? No Flash Uploader?

When using the bulk uploader i get this error

Quote:
Your image is too small. The minimum dimensions for this type of image in this category are 0 x 0.
Invalid File
Now I did my homework so before you give me the common suggestions know that
A) I set the user permissions accordingly
B) Images are definitely not too big and not small
C) YES! users folder is chmod to 777
D) I can upload images individually

Also the flash uploader doesn't work (it just doesn't even show up) nor in any of the files i uploaded does it show me an .swf file. I really would like this thing to work, so please let me know as i don't think any one will stand for it since sites like myspace and facebook all have bulk uploaders.

well if the flash uploader does not work then there is your problem with uploading.

We provided this uploader from a third party because people wanted it. we do not guarantee it will work on all peoples setups hense the switch. Myspace or facebook are individual servers they can code up things to work with there specific servers. Facebooks flash uploader is horrible I can never select more than 5 files at a time without it crashing and thats on there site.

The flash uploader has a yes no switch so it can be disabled. Now one thing to also consider when trying to use the flash uploader is you need to set usergroups permissions correctly

This has to be set to yes under usergroups permissions for all groups able to upload

Can upload images directly from server

Also the flash uploader will not work if MOD SECURITY is turned on on the server.

thank you for your explanation on the flash uploader, but what about the fact that the uploader (not the flash one) won't upload from my bulk folder. I get an error. please read my previous post.

What type of file is this?

Have you checked that all the files uploaded maybe 1 is corrupt?

I have read another thread here and it seems to point to a specific correct image in your path which can stop things.

try viewing all photos your trying to upload make sure they are not corrupt.

yeah.
they are jpgs. 600x900 less than 100k each.
All permissions set properly and should not have any issues.
All jpgs are rgb and none are corrupt

i thought of this as well, and tested by just uploading 1 at a time, trying different images.

Like i said before i can upload it using the normal uploader, just not the batch.

when i was uploading the images i was uploading them in ASCII mode.

Switched it to Auto (binary wouldve worked) and that did the trick.

Yes indeed corrupt images Images are always binary which is why any ftp client should be set to auto.
