You have the "edit templates" in the gallery admin section...
BUT
did you try the vbulletin edit template? does it do the same?
because you also have the vbgallery templates there..
in the vbgallery part.. it only hides the other templates.. but in the vbulletin editor you see all of them, including the vbgallery ones..

(just an idea)
if that works.. you can allways disable the vbgallery "only" admin panel.. you then have just the vbgallery section in the vbulletin admin panel..

Thats always true as well. I wonder what would make the vbgallery templates not show up in the vbgallery templates section though

well i just had an idea... I do not know from which version optima upgraded..
but there used to be an option to have the admin link in footer go to the admin panel, but showing ONLY the gallery admin section...(thats only if you click the adminpanel link at the bottom within vbgallery)
I cannot find that option anymore..
if this option was removed.. AND if she had it active before upgrading.. the option field might still be in vbg_options.. and rests of old code or an old plugin still send you to that "special" panel..

Its just an idea.. i could be completely wrong.. and that option still exists.. i'm just unable to find it..

Yeah I dont see any such thing now probally an old options. I go to the admin panel and its the same.

Well its been 3 days and I have not recieved any response from Optima on this issue and not much we can do without more info. If we cant reproduce an issue then there is nothing to assist with. The actual link in vbgallery that pulls up the vbgallery templates alone is like this and seems to work for me

/template.php?do=modify&searchstring=adv_gallery
