'o' when posting comments

Several users have reported this

when I try to post anything in writing it ends up with a small 'o'

This is when posting comments to Photos.
How can I debug this?

Have you tried posting a comment what do you get?

I tested commenting and what I write is posted fine. Your telling me a user writes something like hi nice photo and it comes out just an o?

If I edit this same post that result in 'o' character, works fine. :/

Okay and if you post a comment it works fine?

Basically you need to find out whats different for those users. I have tested admin account and regular accounts on my test install commenting appears to work fine. I dont see anything on this issue previously.

If you have plugins mods installed try disabling any mods that interfere with the posting interface.

This reminds me of a bug that was fixed when vb 3.8 first came out.. it was not an "o" but a "0" (as zero) ...

There is a fix there at bottom of first page.. (it is integrated in 2.5 if I remember correctly)


Are you shure you are using newest version of gallery?

Yes 0 not "o" makes more sense and if so running the present code fixes anything
