Freezing in the middle of upload

My website is at Main Index - Gallery. We upgraded and nobody's been able to upload for a few days except a select few. When I try to upload, I put in all of my information and while it's processing and redirecting to the 2nd screen where you can put in additional information, it will just stop after it says it's being processed and go blank with Done at the bottom left corner, like it's arrived to the destination, but it hasn't. Now it's showing that I have 5 pictures in my queue to upload but I'm really not getting anywhere with this. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you!

What is the exact message

If it just says done is your file under the max php upload size allowed?

If you are using the flash uploader if you turn it off does the normal upload work?

1. A lot's changed now since I wrote this. My entire gallery went wonky.
2. Not sure because that wording confused me. It used to be 0 but I changed it to 100000, but it wasn't working even before that.
3. Not sure about the flash uploader or how I would find this out.

My regards,
Cindy

Some pages refer back to the website' blog stating that the page I'm looking for isn't there, which is weird. I've been reading other threads regarding the problems above and when Josh upgraded me and then tried to modify my blog homepage header, that's when all of the problems started, so he did something wrong somewhere and I'm just trying to figure it out. I think it's a path issue somewhere but he did replace the php files this morning. I just need somebody to go in and look.

You have changed the gallery url under global options to a wrong url

Maybe if you have phpmyadmin you can issue this sql statement to the photopost database otherwise you need to rerun the install program.

UPDATE pp_settings SET setting='http://www.cpcmag.com/gallery' WHERE varname='maindir';
