vBGallery 2.4.3 direct link to image

Hi Supporters,

I have a strange problem with my vBGallery Installation.
If I click on "Top viewed images" it shows me a list of the 15 top viewed images.
If I now click on a picture there I get an error message "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms."
If I go directly to the category and click on the image its there and it works.
None of the entries unter "Top viewed or top rated images work".

Example:
Die 15 am häufigsten betrachteten Bilder - ESportBoard Gallery
Click on the Image: 3-clanforums_wallpaper_dead_rising_01_1920x1200
You get an error

Now browse to the category where the picture is in:
ESportBoard Wallpapers - ESportBoard Gallery
and click on the same image
3-clanforums_wallpaper_dead_rising_01_1920x1200 - 1920x1200 ESportBoard Gallery

It is working!

I have no idea how to fix that...

I will see if we can find the issue there thanks. The issue is the catid is missing in the url just need to find out where the url is defined.

Try redownloading the build upload all files except the config and reinstall the templates see if this helps?

Hi Chuck, I reinstalled the Gallery and installed all templates again.
The problem is still there.

where is this top images you are referring to so I know where to look?

The Links under "What's Popular" and then click on an image.
Its working in your installation but not in mine.
I am running the latest version and did not make any changes to the templates.
Strange.

edit: to make sure it has nothing to do with vbSEO rewriting URLs I deactivated SEO already but it did not help.

Interesting as I am indeed using the latest code. I have been trying to fix any bugs reported so try redownloading the code and use the install script to reinstall templates possibly.

I Chuck, still the same error.
I downloaded the file from the member area again, uploaded all files and reinstalled the product. Then I reinstalled all plugins, phrases and templates with the vbgallery_install file.
Its still not working.

But it works for me. strange indeed I would probally need to see your files. Maybe something is not updating. you did also reupload all the files as well correct?

Yes I reuploaded all files again and set the software to "overwrite existing files". It would be really good to have version numbers in each file in the header to debug such things.

Feel free to send us proper logins and urls and we can try and see if we see anything. I think it highly strange it works on my little test install and not your site.

Gotta be a file or template not updating properly.
