In gallery_global past requires

I just installed vBulletin 3.73 PL1 (latest patched version) and in the top left corner of all my gallery (2.4.3) pages is the text "In gallery_global past requires" now after the upgrade. Everything seems to work ok, just this ugly text messing with my template. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a fix?

Thanks in advance for your time 3DAllusions Gallery

Best regards,

Russell Thomas

Have you tried reinstalling the templates and phrases through the install script of the gallery?

No, typically if that needs to be done the gallery doesn't work period in my experience. I don't want to make things worse until I at least see if someone else has run into the problem, if I don't hear back from anyone on that, I will mess with it more. Thank you for the suggestion, I just try not to over react until I make an inquiry or two.

EDIT: Sorry I didn't notice your title, typically Zac has always answered support items, I will try the install scripts again.

I did a global search through our downloaded code and that string is nowhere within our application so it is not coming from our application it appears. We have several people using vb 3.7 and vbgallery 2.43 so I would look at any hacks/mods you have install to see if they conflict and that your running an unhacked gallery files.

Yeah well

Well, it did just what I figured, just messed up my template and didn't fix the problem, I should have stuck with my gut feelings on that one. I am running a un-modified vBgallery and gallery_global.php is a vBgallery file, so I tend to think it is a gallery problem with vBulletin 7.3 but we are all intitled to our opinions, thanks for the effort.

Try turning off any vbulletin hacks etc as noted in my last reply. See if turning off all plugins except vbgallery works. If it does then its one of the hacks or plugins conflicting with the software.

What I am saying though is nowhere within the software is that phrase you have present on your site which would make one thing an altered template etc and in no way should reinstalling templates mess with anything.

Thanks for the input, I understood what you were saying and not questioning more than just relying on 'Murphy's Law' and I know one small mod 'here' can effect things 'there', but also like to review what seems to be the obvious problem before attacking others.

What it turned out to be is the diagnostic portion of a script from a custom Joomla module for pulling in content and didn't have anything to do with vBulletin, it is fixed now and you were right it wasn't vBulletin 3.7.3 PL1 and vBgallery 2.4.3, it just wasn't the plugins which I had already disabled in my trouble shooting process, but didn't want to seem argumentative with someone trying to help me.

The messing up of my templates is when the process goes to find images, or verify paths I should say, it goes and inserts gradients and colors from the defualt template into my custom one, and if I forget about it, it gets me when I just hit 'Save' in the vBgallery update script. Just an aggravating annoyance when you are already a bit testy.

Thank you for your time, advice and efforts, much appreciated.
