Ken
Where are your avatar settings under vbulletin? Something is not normal there. Usually there is an avatar link in the control panel but you have none. Maybe a hack conflict somewhere. I see avatars in classifieds I did test that.

Did you do something in the avatar section? A bunch of avatars for members are now not showing up, but some custom avatars still are... weird... this is in the forums I am talking about btw.

I will go double check your permissions but you should...
Ok I had to turn on the permission to allow you to tinker with avatars, I just had the vbgallery stuff turned on for you.

Ok this is fixed now, it was trying to show avatars for people who didn't have them so I had a bunchof people with red x's next to their names. I'm not sure what you did to break/fix it, but just wanted to point out what I was seeing.

I was testing things. Now from what I see we do this the same as photopost pro classifieds etc the query is the same. Now I removed the permissions stuff so the avatar query should always be pulled and I did a little test all your avatar stuff comes back empty which is why nothing shows yet the same query in photopost classifieds shows an avatar

Well remember with ReviewPost and the Classifieds I found that one line that needed fixed to make avatars work in those two products correctly, but vbgallery uses similar logic but different code for the avatars so I thought maybe the same issue is there, that it doesn't take into account that one option on that one line which I developed that fix for, but I don't know PHP well enough to tell. |

No the logic is different in vbgallery and I removed any conditionals so your issue is the query is not pulling the info etc and thats what I need to focus on why

Sorry no I am going to work on echoing out the actual query if I can to see what is actually being ran to see if I can try and determine why you get no results.

BTW,
I just wanted to say that Chuck Rocks! Even though sometimes I have to convince him that there are bugs, he really went after this one and as they say "got er done" and now my members have their avatars in the gallery section as well as their signature pics! Kudos to Chuck! EVERYONE should download the updated showimage.php file and see what you've been missing!!!

There is criticism and there are posts that cross all lines of decency such was your last post so yes it was removed.

Very interesting so far. Thoughtlessly I got used to the avatars not showing in our gallery (vb3.74 and vbgallery2.43) until I happened not to overlook any more, that solely one user has the avatar shown up and all others not. My live-build must be months old, so I just uploaded the recent showimage.php and the avatars are still not present in the postbit. The signatures are viewable within new posts, if the option to show them is on. The avatars are not viewable with new posts too.
