I think the best fix would be to include kirby's fix in the original plugin..
BUT I myself had a problem because i had forgotten the template edits in his fix.. (They are mandatory !!!)

PS: I think the 2 threads concerning these problems are confusing..
I would suggest these 2 threads get locked and a new thread opened adressing the 2 problems with chuck (or zach) posting a fix in first post!!!

Kirby's fix did not work.

The problem is in a user profile - the last post information is wrong - you click on it and it does not take you to that user's last post.

"find all posts" is fine, "find threads started by" is fine - "last post" is broken.

did you apply the template fixes correctly?
the problem was it was giving wrong lastpostid..

check the template fix...
it says:

In Templates adv_gallery_member_block, adv_gallery_member_stats change all occurances of lastpostid into gallastpostid.

so maybe you missed one of the lastpostid... in one of the 2 templates
(just a guess)
