Has there been any traction on this problem at all? Xcache is one of the most powerful Cache systems, and if vBGallery isn't compatible with it, other scripts are going to start looking more appealing.

To my knowledge the product is not compatible with XCACHE.

that will allow you do disable the cache for the vbGallery

that's not working either. Now i'm getting permissions errors it's just loading with different errors... and i'm stuck to have to update the category cache every day for some of these to go away...

what version of vb you running?

If you disable the cache in vb do things run correctly. As stated we do not work with that cache so turning it off would be correct.

and PhotoPost vBGallery v2.4.3


oh wait i think i realize what i did wrong it hink

it's cause i added the FULL if (PP_SCRIPT != 'vBGallery'){
$config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_XCache';
}

at the end of config i didn't know i had to just ADD the if statement

My vbgallery makes an errors like as below.

I have already added a line as below to my config.php

if (PP_SCRIPT != 'vBGallery'){
$config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_XCache';
}


Im using vbb3.8.4, vbgallery 2.5 and xcache1.3.0 now

All I can suggest is you revisit the discussions here. since we do not support xcache there is a big limitation on what I can tell you.
