Hey Saber, long time no see.
You get this error when ?
- uploaded everything from 2.2 over your 2.0 install
- ran admincp/vbgallery_install.php
And it shot out the error instantly ?

And yup, uploaded all the files from the 2.2 zip, made the file edit and then run vbgallery_install.php and there it is right at the top of the screen.

the upgrade seems to have taken effect though, all the templates are updated and the phrases. however i'm not 100% sure as i'm feeling a tad on the lazy side in regard to reading through the file.

Take a look @ the version:
Admincp => vBGallery => Statistics
- Installed Version 2.2
If 2.1 shows up run the upgrade script again.

This happened to me as well when upgrading to 2.3
It appears that the install went through okay despite the error listed above
with the install file: Quote: |
Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /admincp/vbgallery_install.php on line 45
| I'm curious though as to why.
Here's an image after I ran the upgrade where is still shows along with saying it's up-to-date:

It's some old code that was needed to upgrade some older versions of the gallery. I'll place some version checkers around it vs. running the code on all updates.
- moving to bugs.
