Need help for testing smiley error in ecard [added 2.2]

Well I have a little problem with bb code and ecards.
I dont know if its from the code.. or because of a hack i installed (but i have only 3 or 4 hacks that have nothing to do with the gallery.. and the smilies in the comment system work fine... but you never know)

That is why i would like to know if someone had the same issue.


First.. ecards work fine.. if I use the standard editor.

If i go to wysiwyg editor though.. i have the following problem:

I type a text.. add 2 or 3 smilies.. looks good.. then I hit preview:

the smilies are broken links.. allready in preview . the funny thing is if I enter a smiley manually in the wysiwyg editor.. it shows up fine (i enter manually a :-) for instance). But as soon as I click on the smiley... i can see it but its a broken link as soon as I hit preview or send (although i can see it fine in the editor before I hit preview.. so I think the editor is working)

This is what it ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE (its not the sourcecode of the browser!!!)

I checked the DB ... this is also exactly what is stored in the db after i hit send..

Basically the problem is: it replaces " with the html entity &quot; wich is a real anoyance..

the strange thing is i does NOT touch the quotes if I enter the smily by hand.. ( it leaves the " as they are and the smiley displays correctly)


As I said.. the standard editor is ok.. only affects the wysiwyg editor..

I am using VB 3.64 and vbgallery 2.1 (downloaded 2 weeks ago)
running on php 5.2 and mysql 4.19 with apache 2.2x server

help would be appreciated

Confirmed.
I'll take a look @ the PHP code and post a fix.

This fixed the error I ran into.

Edit: gallery/ecards.php

Find:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Replace:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Find:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Below Add:

Content visible to verified customers only.
