Phrase missing: imagetoobig (fixed)
 

Reinstalled Templates/Phrases and still can't find any trace of 'imagetoobig'. Is that the accurate name for the phrase? If so, I'll continue perusing.

Yeah, mine definately doesn't have that entry. That's a standard vBulletin type, or added by Gallery?

I see that yours doesn't have Front-End Error Messages either, and mine does. Maybe it was renamed at some point by Jelsoft?

Well, mine is indeed called "error" as you can see in the page, so I guess it just didn't update the description?

At any rate, that's where I added it, so it should be fine now.

Error Messages is in the default VB install files.

Regardless of the phrase text label
is the correct value for the dropdown. You should be cool.

The first version of 3.6.0 I installed was RC1, and it was an upgrade from 3.5.4. What was your path?

New install.
I just tested a RC2,RC3,Gold - OK


I did a backup of my live site .
- upgraded: every ver from 3.0-3.5.4 then to 3.6 RC2

The phrase type is not there.
- Did a new install of the galley and it is still not there.
(gana test debug mode ) there may be something locked that will not update.

I'll also look @ the LANG xml files of VB and see whats going on.

should I wait or install the currently vbgallery 2.0 beta 1 ? doing clean install currently of vb360 ..

2.0 Beta 1 is fine.

It's not clear from this thread whether or not this phrase was added in B2 ??

I'm seeing the same error in the code for B2:

in functions_gallery_imageedit.php, line 449
Similar code at line 471, but using adv_gallery_imagetoolarge error id
I'm assuming the adv_gallery_imagetoolarge id is correct and it is present in the phrases, so you should correct the other one.

P.S., this same error is also present in V 1.0.1.

Ok the problem. It was never in vBGallery. This was a phrase from the main vbulletin-language.xml. In vBulletin Version 3.6x it was removed and is no longer in the language file.
