Categories not in order
 

For some reason, even though I have numbered my categories for the order I want them in, they just show up how they want too. I like to keep things in alphabetical order but it is all mixed up and looks a mess:

I have the same bug in the 3.0 version.

I have not seen this bug.
I have no problems.

How deep are the cats off the main page, and what is the arrangment.

PM sent in relation to ticket, cats are only 1 deep

Gallery settings:

Category Display Order
Here you may choose to order categories by either the display order specified with each category, or alphabetically.

Was enabled to alphabetically and killing the option to allow you to move the Cats by nuber order. There may be a problem w/ this setting not sorting ABC order, I have not looked in detail yet on that option. I have disabled this and your sort order works by numbers again.

I think i have found a bug.
Look at the Attached Files where is the Category Main Album-->2 on the
index.php?c=1.
Then i change Category Display Order to alphabetically all Categorys are displayed.

I've tested this on VB3.5.4 and Gallery 1.0.2 running on Php 4.4.0 ,MySql4.1.14 and Apache v2.0.54

You know I think I was havening this issue when adding Cat's to my gallery yesterday.

- I have not looked yet, but it may have to do with the order per branch of the categories.

- I have a list of the same 7 sub-categories under each parent.
- If I number the sub-cats with non-consecutive numbers - 1,2,4,5,6,7 - # 4 cat will be gone.

Please reorder in consecutive order per branch and see if they all show up to confirm.
