Watermarking images problem.....

I'm trying to watermark my photos for the event coverage I've taken over the past. I put in the correct path to the watermark image in the "Modify Settings" area AND in the category itself for it to work. But if I have it in both places, it watermarks the MEMBER'S categories as well. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have never had the need to use "watermarks".

I had watermark problems a long time ago, you suppose to be able to exclude catagories or something and it DONT WORK and has not for months, we discussed it on the old vbadvanced board but never got a solution or a fix...

Any luck on this yet? I have vb version 3.5.4 with the latest version of vbgallery, My watermark image is a transparent gif and doesn't show up at all. Are there any instructions on how to set this up properly? Thanks!

I can watermark sections.. each category you make just manually add it in.. and exclude it from the members gallery? i know its long but thats the only solution as of yet i assume...

Another problem on my board... as soon as i watermark a category / image.. the quality drops to about 75%... why's that? i want everything to be bang on 100% sharp and clear with the watermark... even in my settings it says everything is 100% and im using GD2 for image showing. And im running now the beta version that works with vb 3.6.x.

Any help on this??????

Yeah i am having the same thing when water mark is added, i have the same settings as you.

Mine knocks a 192k pic down to 60k

I have talked to Zach about it and it is being looked into.

excellent, i need this sorted out fast as a matter of urgency! its very embarasing to put photos online in that way if the quality drops.

Zach please have a fix for this or look into this asap for us.
