Smilies issue

Someone please help..

First off... if I click reply and go to the text box in the forum, not the gallery, it all works, I can click on more smilies, it opens the window, I select it, it gets inserted...

now if I view a photo in the gallery, click reply in the gallery, it loads all of it, if I choose a smilie thats pictured it all works, if I click more smilies link, the window starts to open, then I get a javascript error, then if I ignore the error the smilies appear but are not clickable...

Gallery "More Smilies" link points to gallery/newreply.php etc <-- dont work
Forum "More Smilies" links to newreply.php etc <--- works

the javascript error says somthing like window.opener.vB_editor .... is not null

In the debug tool it appears a </script> tag is missing but I have no clue where that would be to add it..

it appears at the bottom of what apperas to be the tables and info for each smilie, like the html output of the smilie popup.. and after the </form> at the bottom there is a javascript with no end tag.. as in </script> Should one be there if so how aor where do I need to go to put it there...


also why would it work perfectly in forum but not gallery..

can someone help, I can give you a username to use to look at it, maybe with debug tool you can see what the problem is or someone point me at some scripts to look at or templates..

Do you have a test account that I could use to check it out? I just tried it on one of my sites (vB 3.5.1 / Gallery 1.0.1) and am not experiencing the issue.

I clicked ignore on script error and looked at the source of the page,, see attached...

in the debug tool it showed ths.

the page by itself loads, but not clickable.. something in the process is messing it up.. but only in the gallery.. in regular forum it works fine..

Well.. 10 days, no response, no fix, still no smilies... posted a month ago almost and nothing..

No help, no fix, no solution, it works in vbulletin but not the gallery..

I want this fixed, can anyone help?

I took a look.

This is an error w/ my build also.

The smiles pop-up in the postbit.
- you can not click the smiles to place them in the "post" area.

This sounds like there mave be a PATH / URL issue calling the javascript.
- perhaps it's looking @ gallery vs. forums dir.

I'll do a scan on the forums to see if this issue has been fixed.

I have the same issue...the more smilies box opens up but the smilies are not clickable.
