Problem With Gallery Off

Hi there, alright this is odd, when I have the Gallery turned off and you visit it as a guest, look in the upper left corner.

Where did that '0' come from??

http://www.atvpros.net/gallery/?

Also, I noticed that in order to get the replacement variables to work with 3.5 Gold I had to actually make a change and then save it, could not just go into the Gallery CP General Settings and then save it.

Also, I never noticed this before, however, I placed all the header replacement variables in CMPS, and then went into Gallery to do the same, they were already there, like they carried over from CMPS...is this correct? I do not seem to remember it doing this in previous installs??

Thanks everyone

Re: Problem With Gallery Off

For the '0' problem, try looking in your gallery_global.php file for this code:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Replace with this:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
And that should take care of the problem.

As for the replacement options, the same settings for all vBa products have always been used. Though you will still need to save the settings to update the cache since those are stored in different fields.

Re: Problem With Gallery Off

Thanks Brian, so can I ask, what is the reason for that '0'? Was there are reason it was there in the first place? Cause I have never had it be an issue before.

Sorry I am an engineer so I am nosey like that

So those replacement options should carry over like that from CMPS? So if I delete one from the CMPS it will be removed from the Gallery as well.

Re: Problem With Gallery Off

I'm not entirely sure when, but it looks like vB changed the way the standard_error() function works, so that's where the 0 was coming from.
Yes, if you remove/add something with any of the replacement settings then it will carry over to all vBa products.
