| function.array-merge error
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /usr/web/sites/www.buckeyeplanet.com/htdocs/gallery/index.php on line 176
Getting this error at the top of the gallery/index.php page. Wasn't earlier, and all I've done since is set user permissions, create a couple new categories, and enable .htaccess protection.
I've since disabled the latter, but still getting the error. Not sure what the problem is, and looking at line 176 didn't help.
Any suggestions? Did a search here for the error, but just found something similar for CMPS.
--edit--
It only seems to be on the main page.

it might have todo with your settings...
did you exclude some categories from being viewed on index? and have deleted them afterwards...
or
it might have todo with the private categories..
at least it has todo with that line...
i would try to delete all private categories..
and set them up again..
luc
its just an idea...

No categories excluded, have only created a few, and they're open to all, so no privates either.
When I log out of my account, the error isn't there. So I've looked at permissions but everything seems kosher.
I am running PHP5, the few other threads I saw about this were in the CMPS area, but mentioned PHP5 being an issue. Hard to believe that would be the case here though.
Either way, anxious to put this to use, but not going to until that error is gone. It's all seems to be completely functional, so I'm not sure what problem this error is causing.
I've tried loading up my settings and resaving thinking maybe it's the cache as well, no luck.
Thanks for the suggestions though, Luc.

Admin CP => vBa Gallery => Modify Settings => Main Index Page Options => Excluded Categories
Double check there to make sure that you do not have any categories selected. You may also want to try selecting a category there, saving the options, and then going back to deselect the category and see if that helps to solve the problem.

I have a similar problem, running PHP5. I removed all private categories and the error is gone. But as soon as I add one it returns.
Any ideas?

Look in your gallery/index.php file for: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Replace with: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
And that should take care of the problem.

I get it here now
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #1 is not an array in /includes/functions_gallery.php on line 2174
after installing php5. php5 does array_merge differently now Quote: |
The behavior of array_merge() was modified in PHP 5. Unlike PHP 4, array_merge() now only accepts parameters of type array. However, you can use typecasting to merge other types

Try looking in your functions_gallery.php file for this code (almost at the very bottom): Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
And add this right above it: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
