Question Your e-Card has been viewed! includes no passcode with link

When the notification comes that someone has picked up the e-card that you've sent them, it offers the link to view the card, unfortunately, it does not offer the passcode to view it.

Quote:
SomeName,
The e-card you sent to SomeOne with a title of test 2 has been viewed. You may view the card here: http://www.SomeURL.org/gallery/ecard...wcard&cardid=5

Yours,
I have Apply Permissions When Viewing e-Cards set to no.

I'd like to change the email phrase to put the card title in quotes, will "s cause a problem?

Also, the smilie code is being added to the card text instead of the smilies so instead of it would show ;). I tried disabling and enabling that setting in the admincp and checking to be sure that enable smilies was checked underneath when sending a second ecard (hence test 2). Still shows the code instead of the smilie.

Any suggestions?

Re: Your e-Card has been viewed! includes no passcode with link

If the user who sent the card is logged in under that account then they should be able to see the card. It's not possible to send the passcode back with the conformation email though since the passwords are md5 encrypted for security.
No, adding quotes in the email phrase will not cause any problems.
For the smilies problem, if you'll look in your gallery/ecard.php file for this code:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
And add this below:
Code:
Content visible to verified customers only.
Then that should take care of the problem.

Cool Re: Your e-Card has been viewed! includes no passcode with link

I was afraid that would be the case with the passcode. My email client opens a different browser than the one I browse with regularly so it wouldn't recognize me. Perhaps when you go gold, you'll include a statement such as "you must be logged in to view this e-card" or something? I'll add that to my own phrase tonight.

The smilie fix worked like a charm. Thanks for looking into it for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate you.
