Category Images

Where is the "Category Image" supposed to show? I set some of my cats to have images, but they are not showing at all...

Requires registration. Do you have a test account to use? Or can you temporarily open the gallery to guests?

Sorry, was away for a bit.

Did you upgrade from a previous version of Gallery? If so, did you manually revert all Gallery templates that you may have previously modified?

I just took a look at this for you since I still had your support ticket from the other day open. It looks like there was a small bug that can occur with category images when you're running in safe mode, which I have gone ahead and fixed for you. If you browse the categories again and set the category images it should work without a problem.

For anyone else that's having this problem, please look in your forum/includes/functions_gallery.php file for this code:

Replace with this:

Content visible to verified customers only.

And that should take care of the problem.

Wow that's a bunch brian! Yes, our server is running php in safe mode...

Unfortunately the images are still NOT working as I see it. Did you mod my functions_gallery.php for me? or should I do it?

Yes, I made the changes to that file for you. Did you go through your categories and set the cat images again?

Set them? some of them were already set when you fixed(adjusted) the php file.

What I did was remove the url of the image, then saved. Then inserted the url of the image BACK then saved it again. Still does not work.

Read the description of the category image field. It prefixes that path for you, so you only enter part of the path in the field.
