Gold "date added" not working

Before the upgrade i had all my folders set to show by "date added" newest first.

Now they appear to be random, or some messed up order. If i set it manually on the "Display Options" it works. But if i do it in admincp it dosn't work.

Any help?

Everything else went smoothly, great update on both CMPS and Gallery.

EDIT: I don't know why, but regardless of if i choose ascending or descending it goes oldest first.

There are a couple of changes necessary to correct the problem, so I've just updated the files on here. If you'll download the package again and upload the gallery/browseimages.php, gallery/showimage.php, and forum/includes/functions_gallery.php files over your existing ones then that should take care of the problem.

The files worked great and fixed the problem,

A few other things:

- The "Display Order" in the galleryCP is displaying in reverse. What do I need to do to fix that?

NOTE: For a temp workaround, I re-numbered the display order backwards, but I would still like it to be normal again.

- When I click on one of the "Newest 8 images", I get a "Flimstrip" from another category showing at the bottom of the image, and I can also see some funky character (a dash "-") showing at the bottom where you normally have the ">>" arrows showing.

If you'll download the package from here again and upload the showimage.php file over your existing one then that should take care of the problem. Keep in mind that the filmstrip is not going to work the same for new images as it did in RC4. With the new option of allowing your users to choose a date to search from new images from, we have to default the filmstrip to show images since their last visit since there is no specified date when clicking on those images from the main gallery page.

I'm talking about when you click the images at the main Gallery index page when you first enter the Gallery. This is the area you titled "Newest XX images". The Filmstrip should coincide with the the selected picture (I would think anyway), but it displays pics from other categories.

I have attached a few pics to visually show you what is happening. They are crude, but I think they demonstrate the problems.

Hey Brian what is the fix for the display order in the admincp going in a backward order??? It should go in a normal fasion of 1,2,3 and so on.

NOTE: For a temp workaround, I re-numbered the display order backwards, but I would still like it to be normal again.

I'm not too sure what the problem would be with either of those issues. If you would like to submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look.
