Private categories not so private

While you cannot access private categories from categories link, all images are accessible from random in front page, latest in front page, and cms module. And then, from any of those accesses, you can click on next, previous to your heart content.

How exactly are you making these categories private? The images should only be displayed if you have permissions set to allow the user to view them.

First in settings I selected not to display counter and images for those, then here are member settings attached.

Are you looking at these categories as a guest, or as an admin/mod? Admins & mods are going to be able to see those categories regardless of the settings there.

Ok, I was looking as a mod. But as member, while the big folder don't show up, the small folder displays in front page, as per attached (called bluetooth). But when you click on members categories link, it does not display inside which is perfect (truly hidden).

As admin, I can see thumb and access like described above, but could not have direct access from link

If you'll look in your forum/includes/functions_gallery.php file for this code:

Content visible to verified customers only.

And replace it with this:

Content visible to verified customers only.

Then that should take care of the problem with sub categories.
