Refresh or reload after image edit

Might be a good idea to include a notice to this effect on the image edit page. Could save thee and me some support requests...

"After you have flipped or flopped your foto, you may need to hit the REFRESH or RELOAD button in your browser to bask in the effect."

Well, maybe the phrasing needs work.

Great job Brian.

Re: Refresh or reload after image edit

What about just some no cache headers on that page?

Okay. Sounds good. Hint please? I have "Add No-cache HTTP headers" =Yes under "Cookies and HTTP settings" for the main vb options.

Just add this in your 'ADV_PORTAL_EDITIMAGE' template, somewhere above the </head> tag.
Code:

Re: Refresh or reload after image edit

Of course. Thanks for the tip.

But after editing, the page to see changes is showimage.php, I guess that's where to headers would go. But that would affect bandwidth consumption and perceived speed.

Hmm. Even after those changes, and verifying the headers are in the source, editimage does not pull out the latest until a manual refresh. Oh well. Browser issues. Probably just IE. Some other day. This is not a priority item.

Cheers.
