| User Created Categories
A user created a sub-category of the Members Gallery and uploaded a photo. The Last Upload field for that category still showed nothing until I ran the Update Counters in AdminCP.
Also, that user's image doesn't show up on the "Newest Images" section of the main Gallery page. (Or under the What's New menu option.)

Can you tell me which category this was that the user created? I've still got one of your other support tickets open, so I'll have a look after you let me know which one it was.

It's the first one listed in the Member Galleries. ("TZG's Toys") I ran the update counters though, so the Last Upload is now showing for it.

Did this image have to be moderated first, or was it approved right away? I just tried both ways, plus I created a new category and then uploaded an image to it, but it worked fine in all cases..

No, I don't use any type of moderation.

Did you see anything strange with his image record that would prevent it from showing under "What's New->Newest Images"?

You're talking about 93 Seca @ Hawks Nest, right? It's showing that the image was uploaded in 2003.

Here's what he said he did: Quote:
I originally created a gallery called TGZ rc51 or something along those lines.
I went to change the name and it disappeared leaving the pics in the members gallery.
Last night I made a new one that you mentioned (tgzs toys) put a pic or 2 in and then it kept saying I dont have any access and thats where I left off

Ok, He added this also: Quote: |
I forgot to mention that I clicked on the picture and edit to move attempt the move into the new category
| So it was an old picture that he moved into a new category. So the orginal image missing must have just been something to do with the import from PhotoPost, like you mentioned in the PM.

Ok, narrowed it down. When you Edit an Image, then choose a new category for it, it doesn't move the original image it appears. Or, it doesn't move the information about the original image I guess. Since Rebuild Image Info corrects it.

Ahhh, I think I see the problem now. In your editimage.php file try looking for this: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
And right below it add this: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
And see if that solves the problem.

Another issue found by this, when an image is moved to a category, it doesn't update the Last Post and other fields for that category.
Not sure how that should work... In this case, the category was empty before, so it should have updated it. If you have images in there already, and you move an older image in, should it show up as Last Posted, even though it's actually older? It was the last one posted to that category technically.....
Dunno.

Could have swore I had something there to update the category info...
If you'll look in your editimage.php file for this: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
And add this right above it: Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
Then that should take care of the problem.
