Show EXIF Information?

Does this work? I have it enabled, and I uploaded a photo with XIF information ie camera make and model, lens speed etc it displays this info in the File Properties in MS Explorer, but it does not show any of this information when I upload the file, I just get the normal information displayed, like user uploaded, time, file size and pixel size.

Try this:

In showimage.php find

Content visible to verified customers only.

Replace that with

Content visible to verified customers only.

Let me know if Kirby's fix doesn't work.

I know this is a dumb question but...... where would it show? In the imagebit? I've been trying to get this working on my site also.

It's displayed on the showimage.php page. There was still an error in the code posted above, so I've modified the post to reflect the correct code.

Cool. I'm poking around now. I'm trying some random images but the EXIF isn't showing. But.... it I'm not sure where the problem is coming from now. I'm looking at some 'original' images that I uploaded that were taken with my Canon digital but even using an IE plug-in for viewing EXIF it's not finding anything. HHmm.... I must experiment a little bit.

Kirby, as far as I can tell it was a space between one of the concatenators.



On an unrelated note.... if anybody is interested in the IE EXIF view plug-in, check here.

Looks like I had $vba_options['gallery_filecategory'] rather than $vba_options['gallery_filedirectory'].

Kevin - Your problem could be that your server isn't configured with the exif_read_data() function. You could try removing the AND function_exists('exif_read_data') code from your showimage.php file and that would print out an error then if you don't have it.
