upload image to more than one category

Is this possible?

As I wish to upload a photo to a master category but then have this photo also available in 2 other sections?

Also, if this is possible - is it's possible to hide categories too? (But still access them via direct link)

Using Photopost Pro there is a feature to upload to additional categories up to 2 of them. You can hide categories from users based on category permissions. You can also password protect categories although they would be viewable just ask for a password.

But you can't do this in vB Gallery?

If not, is it possible to link to search query e.g. search.php?keywords=garden so we could set up a menu of filters?

You can not upload to multiple categories in vbGallery only Pro.

In Pro yes you can do a search like that. Here is an example.

So it's a different ID for every search? and these don't ID's don't reset?

No the id's are generated when you do the search. the search is as I posted in the link. Hover over to view the link I did.
