| Multi-Licences
I read in another thread you run the same policy as vBulletin with multiple installs?
I'd like to confirm that scenarios 1 & 2 are OK for Photopost as they are for vB ... in this vB thread? Multiple-domains-and-the-license-agreement |

You would have to email sales at photopost.com by hitting the contact us link in the header.
I believe our licensing is ONE INSTALL PER ONE DOMAIN as that's the way I read our licensing.

3 days now since I e-mailed your sales dept. as you suggested ... nada ... not a very good start for a potential new customer.
If you can't be bothered before a sale ... alarm bells .. |

I would suspect personally some type of email glitch and they never got it. You did use the contact us link in the header above?
They are usually very prompt in returning emails.

No Glitch,
I did use the link ...
Got an instant autoresponse saying they would be in touch ... as I said nothing.

Do you have an email this would have been coming from so I have some info to give customer service? It would have to be some spam filter issue because its not like customer service to not respond.

Checked my spam nothing ...
I have a code from the autoreply - PhotoPost Sales #CHU-30486-839
Surely in the circumstances you can find out for me ... ?
I have a shared hosting account and can point multiple domains to my root folder.
So there would only be one copy of the Photopost software and one database. No dB prefixes.
I can only afford the 1 copy. I've just bought vB4 and I can run that on my multi-domains within their license agreement.

Sorry no that code is from Yahoo auto reply
Here is the word I have on the issue
As long as you only install the software on ONE SERVER AND ONE DOMAIN you can forward as many domains to it as you wish. You can just not install more than one copy of the software without purchasing multiple licenses.

| Not really sure why you are doing this it's a little bit silly.
It would have been easier to say a quick sorry for not contacting me sooner.
I have been pleasant about it ...
My next guess is that this thread will mysteriously disappear ...?
What a strange thing to do.

well without you giving me an actual info like email or wording content from the email to search for in the helpdesk there is little for me to assist with until now that you just did .
I work on the support forums here and can answer basic licensing questions usually and gave you my understanding of the licensing policy which is listed here PhotoPost Photo Gallery License Agreement
Now you xxx'd out your email but I was able to find your email based on the subject in the email "licenses"
I have assigned that thread to a customer service agent and i beleive there answer is probally going to be what I already gave you.

Thanks,
I look forward to them confirming your post.
I provided your code in #7.
The email text in #9.
All this because your Sales Dept. didn't contact me as quickly as you thought? I wasn't even complaining in an hostile manner.
I hope the "Customer Service Agent" appreciates the lengths you are prepared to go to to cover up for them.
Although I'm not sure that Yahoo would.
Very unprofessional. Chuck.

Sara searching for a code won't work. Only in post 11 was I able to get info from your posting email Code: Content visible to verified customers only.
To find an email in the system I can only search by subject, content or email. I put in licenses in the subject search and found you.

Sara,
The license agreement states: Quote: |
A PhotoPost license grants you the right to run one instance (a single installation) of PhotoPost on one web server and one web site for each license purchased.
| Translated: You can run a single installation per server/domain, not multiple installations. If you want to run more copies, you will need multiple licenses - as each license is linked to the domain.

Skids she will be doing one install and forwarding urls to that one install that is permitted.
You can forward domains to another domain install thats not an issue.
