Review System

Hello i have a heavily modified board about to reach Big Board Status , should be in May of this year.

Diesel Bombers - Diesel Forum - High Performance, Cummins, Duramax, Powerstroke, TDI

I have a dedicated lynx server and im running

vBulletin® Version 3.8.4
and
SEO by vBSEO 3.3.2

I have about 100 Modifications Products and Over 500 Template Edits

I want to add the Reviews system to my site. Is it compatible ?

And Most Importantly , Is the Product Supported ? and Is the developement Team Stable ?

Thank You

Ill be doing the install on a live board , is there anything i should look out for , or do to prevent down time and errors?

Chuck S February 1st, 2010 12:12 PM

No not at all since your not modifying anything really in your forum nothing to watch out for. You would install into say a directory called reviews etc

DieselMinded February 1st, 2010 12:16 PM

Is there any edits to the core files of vBulletin ?

Chuck S February 1st, 2010 12:17 PM

No none whatsoever ;)

DieselMinded February 1st, 2010 12:21 PM

Should i use my current mysql database or make a new one for the reviews

Chuck S February 1st, 2010 12:49 PM

You can do either. It can be installed into its own database or vb's

DieselMinded February 1st, 2010 01:04 PM

I have purchased this and will install in a seperate database because i only store images in my file system and have my forums database streamlined

Can You Approve my account?

Chuck S February 1st, 2010 01:17 PM

Customer service will process your order. Once your license is valid you can validate yourself by making sure your forum email matches the license email.

DieselMinded February 1st, 2010 01:22 PM

Well it dont match because i used pay pal and it used my pay pal email account and when i joined here i used my dieselminded@dieselbombers.com email account

DieselMinded February 1st, 2010 01:26 PM

i updated my forum email to match my pay pal email in which i assume the licence is under , i tried to enter the member area and im getting

Not a valid username or password. Please try again or contact us for help.

Error

Is my username and password for the members area the same as the forum?

Chuck S February 1st, 2010 01:43 PM

You will not be a valid customer until customer service processes your actual order and issues you a members area username and password. After that the forum cron task will cycle and add you as verified.
