| Some questions regarding vB4
Hi all, i have a few questions before i decide to purchase or not.
I am running vB4 Gold at the moment.
1) What is the difference between vBGallery and Photopost Pro
2) Am i correct in that i will be able to import everyones private user albums into this system, and disable vBulletins version?
3) With vB4 Gold if you have pictures in your User Albums, when you are creating a post and open the attachment manager, these pictures show up in there also making it easier to post them in threads/posts. Is this still the same if i disable vBulletins version and use your integration as mentioned above?
4) If doing what was mentioned in Q3 can i still set privacy options on albums to restrict certain people seeing the photos/albums?
Thanks for any help you can give.

Currently vBGallery is not compatible with vB4. They are working on this now. As far as your other questions go.
2. Yes
3. Yes
4. Yes
It works this way with vB3.8

Thank you both for your replies. So in simple terms do i just need to wait until vBGallery has been upgraded to work with vB4?

If you want to run vbgallery with your vb4 yes you would have to wait. If you want to use Pro then you can install now.

Sorry i forgot to ask before, from the comparison you linked me too, i cannot see any benefit of vBGallery over photopost other than it using vBulletin templates?
So does this mean i can purchase photopost and be able to use the same login as my vB4, replace vB4s user albums, import exisiting ones into photopost, display the photos on the forum homepage etc?
Sorry just want to make sure 100% this will do as i want before paying!

LOL Yeah 6 hours ago I would think everyone at customer service over there a few hours time behind me was fast asleep. I know I was over here on the east coast.

LOL well we shall see they try to get to everything within 24 hours. Things have been pretty busy though with the holiday sale.

So i made it through New Years, just, but 24 hours later and still no email with customer information? And given the time difference im assuming it will be another 6 hours or so until the sales people come online anyway?
That kind of sucks a bit!

have you sent them email correspondence at all? These are the support forums sorry there is literally nothing we can do for you on here. Please email either sales at photopost dot com or use the contact us link above in our header to email them and ask about your order. As stated all orders are usually always processed within 24 most being within a few hours. Only hold ups I have ever heard of is when they have asked the customer questions regarding the order and the customer email has gone to there spam and they never replied to customer service so the order gets put on hold. Just an FYI.
