Question Sale questions
Hi,

Editted - Updated Questions

I have some questions about the PhotoPost Classified add on for vBulletin
First let me say sorry for all the questions.

1. Is this the current version here Main Index - PhotoPost Classifieds

Almost thats 3.12 which is right before 3.21

2. Does the Payment side for Ad's come with the standard system or is that an add on ?

It comes standard.

3. If I order an pay by PayPal how quick do I get access to the script ?

Most orders take as stated no more than 24 hours to process since its all by hand. Most times within a couple hours.
4. If the seller takes paypal and they put there paypal address in do they get redirect once they won or is that for buy it now only ?

redirect once they win? Users can buy it now if a ad poster allows that but aside from anything else thats worked out between buyer and seller. There is a whole section of payments also that you can charge to post ads.

5. Will it would with vBulletin 3.8.4 and over ?

Yes it works fine with vbulletin 3.8.4 and we will support any versions in the future

6 Are there any vBavanced plugin/mod ?

There is a ad and categories blocks for the vbulletin forum home. I dont know what else is posted as far as mods since thats outside our support forums.

7. Are updates free for every or is there a yearly payment for updates, if so how much ?

They are free for a year and then you can get more updates for the $39.00 yearly members renewal which is up to you to do or not

8. Do I get access to the code or is it encoded ?

you get full access to the code

Thanks for the reply

I have 3 other questions that just come to mind.

1. Is there a way for the User to delete or mark the advert as Sold ?

2. Is there a way for the admin or moderator to delete an advert ?

3. I noticed on the demo that when it marked as Sold the counter doesn't change.

For example: In Early Model Used it says 3 ad's but there is only 1 is there a cron that can be run or maybe a manual way to adjust this ?

Regards,
Big-Gaz

1. YES

2. YES

3. I would have to ask the webmaster maybe he has not done something right in the setup as the counts should update

Thanks for the reply.
I was going to test this on the test site but can't it keeps giving 404 errors, so I will ask the question.

When someone put an advert on is there a minimum price or could they put it on for example: for Free or 0.01

Big-Gaz

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the reply
That is great news.
Can I play around on that test site as much as I wish?

As I am wanting to buy PhotoPost Classified script hopefully next month (if I can get the money together) and am in the process of setting up the site.

Regards,
Big-Gaz (Garry)

Hi,

I was just reading the License agreement and have a question
It says I can only run it on 1 domain per license.

Is it posisble to run it on the main domain and have a test site which is password proctected.

Yes that is permissible but it must not be web accessible so protected it must be.

PhotoPost Community - Announcements in Forum : Before You Buy

This should assist you with verification. It states your forum email must match the license email.

Yep all matches so I presume it just a case of waiting for the cron to run.
