Upgrade question from VbGallery

I recently upgraded my site running vb3.07 to 3.64. Of course, now the older version of VBGallery does not work.

Is it possible to instally Photophost VBGallery and 'upgrade' the legacy piece of VBGallery?

All you should have to do is download vbgallery 2.1 and run the necessary upgrade scripts to upgrade your vbgallery

I did the same not to long ago and it worked flawlessly. The the adv_ tables get renamed to pp_, so any custom code will need to be updated.

Example of custom code that I had to update: http://www.photopost.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129643

But VbGallery appears to have less features than photopost. Is it possible to upgrade to photopost instead of VbGallery?

Photopost is an entirely different product. You would need to purchase a photopost license and use the vbgallery importer to import vbgallery into photopost.
