Hi can I do this?

Set up galleries for a select few of my users.

I want only one person to be allowed to upload to galleries I set up.

But in categories outside the Personal Gallery which I'll disable.

You can set up permissions of who can upload to what category based on usergroup permissions therefore the few specific users you want to upload you create a special usergroup to house them and then move them to there and in Photopost set permissions accordingly
