vBGallery to PhotoPost

I believe my forum members and gallery users would be better served by PhotoPost and some if its advanced features then PP vBGallery which we currently use.
Even after reading this thread about an import script I am still somewhat unclear on if this is possible.
Is it true that I can't upgrade from one of your products to another, or am I just misinterpreting this thread?

I am especially concerned about Member Categories. Currently our gallery is growing at aprox 700 new images a week with the majority added in new member categories. I have noticed that viewing this area appears to take more and more time as new categories are added. I have not noticed this issue on large PhotoPost galleries.

Well correct.

However you can probally modify the vbadvanced gallery importer to Photopost every instance in the importer of this

to just this

That should enable you to place the proper new table prefix on the tables and find them
